Babí léto a sázení s Pure Storage v Libři II.

V pátek 7.10. jsme se po půlroční pauze opět setkali s 25 dobrovolníky ze spol. Pure Storage v obci Libeř-Libeň a tentokrát na nás čekal úkol vysázení 70 ovocných stromků podél cyklostezky z Libně do Ohrobce/Dolních Břežan. Stejně jako na jaře jsme měli takřka letní, slunečné počasí. Původně se mělo sázet k 1 kůlu, ale z důvodu větších, kontejnerovaných stromků se muselo sázet ke 2kůlům a čekalo na nás tedy i více práce. Byť se před sázením našlo pár pochybovačů, že se vše nestihne, zaměstnanci PS prokázali, že už jsou zkušenými „sazeči“ stromků a neexistuje varianta, že by se vše nestihlo a práce krásně odsýpala. Okolo půl páté se dokončil poslední stromek, přibila cedulka a následovalo grilování a opékání buřtů na krásném místě (Trojmezí), odkud byl výhled na širou krajinu i stromky, které jsme s dobrovolníky z PS sázeli na jaře. Začaly padat červánky, projela okolo nás paní na koni, všichni byli unaveni, syti, ale myslím, že spokojeni z dobře odvedené, smysluplné práce a jsem si jist, že spousty z nich si v budoucnu udělá na kole výlet a ochutnají plody své práce.
On Friday the 7th. of October we met, after half a year gap, with 25 volunteers from the company Pure Storage in Libeř - Libeň. At this time we had in front of us the task of planting 70 fruit trees along a cyclepath from Libeř to Ohrobce/Dolní Břežany. As in the spring, we had almost summer weather. Originally, we were supposed to be planting trees to 1 stake, but because we had bigger trees then expected (with containers) we had to plant them to 2 stakes and more work was ahead of us. Although, before the planting there was some skeptasims, employees from Pure Storage proved that they are really experienced “tree-planters” and there is no way that all work wouldn't be done by the end of the day. Around half past 4 the last tree was planted, an information board was driven with nails and BBQ of meat and sausages followed at a beautiful place (Trojmezí), from which there was a view on a wide landscape and on the trees, which we planted with the Pure Storage volunteers this spring. The dawn came, a lady on a horse passed around, everyone was tired, full up, but I think that as well satisfied from a well-done and meaningful day of planting. I am sure that many of the participants will, in the future, make a bike trip and taste the fruits of their own work.
