Libeř (Volume 6 - When new cyclopath in Libeř is born)

On Friday, the 22nd of March, for the 6th time, we met with volunteers from Pure Storage. A total of 35 volunteers arrived, tasked with planting 43 trees to 3 stakes (18 lindens, 25 oaks). Participants were promised refreshments at the local picturesque, 180-year-old inn after planting, as a token of the village's gratitude for the donation and assistance with planting. Each volunteer was invited to schnitzel and beer/non-alcoholic beverages. Since most of the Pure Storage volunteers are foreigners, they were informed before planting that schnitzel would only be given to those who could pronounce "Ř-řízek" correctly!
Most of the Pure Storage volunteers already had experience with planting, or perhaps due to the allure of the inn and schnitzel with beer, the planting was finished immediately. Before we could decide which tree to take the final photo with, everyone was already in their cars heading towards the inn. After a quick getaway, we all gathered at the inn and relaxed over delicious, homemade schnitzel and beer/non-alcoholic drinks, continuing with friendly discussions in a pleasant atmosphere. All randomly selected volunteers could pronounce "Ř-řízek" perfectly!
We thank LKQ and employees of BAT Czech Republic s.r.o. for financing the entire planting. After today's efforts, we have planted with PS 328 trees in our region (253 fruit trees and 75 linden/oak trees and 35 shrubs!). Once again, voices emerged expressing a desire to plant more and more trees. We thank Pure Storage (especially Silvana) and look forward to future planting!
V pátek 22.3. jsme se již po 6. potkali s dobrovolníky ze společnosti Pure Storage. Celkem dorazilo 35 dobrovolníků a za úkol bylo vysázet 43 stromů ke 3 kůlům (18 lip, 25 dubů). Účastníkům bylo po sázení slíbeno občerstvení v místní malebné, 180 let staré hospůdce, jako poděkování obce za dar i pomoc se sázením. Každý dobrovolník byl pozván na řízek a pivo/nealko. Jelikož většina dobrovolníků z PS jsou cizinci, byli již před sázením informováni, že řízek dostane jen ten, kdo bude schopný říct Ř-řízek!
Většina dobrovolníků z PS již měla zkušenosti se sázením, nebo snad díky vidině hospody a řízku s pivem, bylo sázení za chvilku hotovo. Než jsme se rozkoukali a vybrali u kterého stromu uděláme závěrečnou fotku, všichni už byli v autech a ujížděli směr hospůdka. Po rychlém úprku jsme se všichni sešli v hospodě a relaxovali u báječného domácího řízku a piva/nealka, které pokračovalo nevázanou diskuzí v příjemné atmosféře. Všichni náhodně vybraní dobrovolníci uměli perfektně vyslovit ř-řízek!
Děkujeme společnosti LKQ a zaměstnancům firmy BAT Czech Republic s.r.o. za financování celé výsadby. Po dnešním dni jsme společně s Pure Storage vysázeli v našem regionu již 328 stromů (253 ovocných a 75 lip/dubů a 35 keřů!). Opět se ozývaly hlasy, že by chtěli sázet více a více stromků. Děkujeme Pure Storage (speciálně Silvaně) a těšíme se na další sázení!
