Všenory prodloužily stromořadí kolem polních cest

Ve Všenorech jsme sázeli opět po roce. V den státního svátku jsme začli tam, kde jsme před rokem končili a vysadili jsme hned další tři skupiny stromů. Prodloužili jsme cestu mezi poli a zároveň odbočku směřující k Berounce a opět jsme vybrali staré odrůdy ovocných stromů v celkovém počtu 36. A protože loňská výsadba hrušní byla napadena rzí hrušňovou, kterou způsobuje houba stěhující se pravidelně mezi hrušní a některými druhy jalovců, další hrušně jsme pro navazující výsadbu raději nevybrali. Vsadili jsme na jabloně, třešně a slivoně. Sešli jsme se s partou pozvanou Armandi Therapy Clinic, s firmou GEP a s místními obyvateli. Nejprve jsme se věnovali výsadbě ovocných stromů poblíž Berounky. Po chvíli se skupina místních dobrovolníků odebrala na nedalekou lokalitu, kde zasadili ještě 5 lip ke třem kůlům za firmu Warhorse studios, jejíž zástupci se, bohužel, výsadby zúčastnit nemohli. Největší vytrvalci pomohli výsadbu dotáhnout až do konce a odměnou jim bylo zahřátí u ohýnku a opečení buřtíků. Děkujeme všem dárcům financí, díky kterým se mohla tato výsadba uskutečnit a všem, kteří přiložili ruku k dílu.

After a year, we planted trees in Všenory again. On the national holiday of Nov 17th, we started where we finished a year ago and planted three more lines of trees. We extended the path between the fields and also towards the river Berounka. We selected old varieties of fruit trees in the total number of 36. And because last year's pear planting was infested with pear rust, we decided not to select pear trees for extended planting. We chose apple trees, cherries and plums. We met with the group around Armandi Therapy Clinic, GEP and the locals. We first focused on planting fruit trees near Berounka. After a while, a group of local volunteers went to a nearby location, where they planted 5 more lindens with three stakes on behalf of company Warhorse studios, whose representatives, unfortunately, could not participate in the planting. The biggest perseverers helped to finish the planting till the sunset and the reward was warming up by the fire and roasting the sausages. We thank all the donors who made this planting possible and all those who put their hand to the work.
